The five questions our admission desk answers most often.
Applications for the 2026–27 session close on 31 August 2026. UPTAC
counselling rounds run through July; direct admission against vacant seats continues until the
deadline or until seats fill, whichever is earlier.
Class 10 and 12 marksheets and certificates, JEE Main scorecard (if
applicable), transfer certificate, character certificate, category certificate (if applicable),
Aadhaar, domicile certificate and six passport photographs. Bring originals for verification plus two
sets of photocopies.
Yes, and we would encourage it. Guided tours run every Saturday at 11 AM
without appointment — just carry a photo ID. On other days, call the admission desk a day ahead and we
will arrange a student guide.
Our finance office assists with documentation for education loans from SBI,
PNB, Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank, all of which have sanctioned loans for MIT students in previous
years. The institute does not charge for this assistance.
Call the 24×7 anti-ragging helpline on +91 94123 45600, or email the Dean of
Student Welfare directly. Complaints can be made anonymously and are investigated by a standing
committee within 48 hours. MIT maintains a zero-tolerance policy.
